The Flagler County Eco-Discovery Center will be a 10,000 sq. ft. facility dedicated to eco-tourism opportunities for the county and surrounding region. Features will include a spacious central atrium with informational displays and collateral about the Scenic Byway system, nearby attractions and points of interest. The Eco-Discovery Center will also boast a gallery showcasing local art, cultural narratives, and historical stories, along with a gift shop offering locally sourced and environmentally friendly products. There will be a combined 3,000 square feet of versatile indoor/outdoor space available for rent, suitable for community meetings, classes, and events. Other features include restrooms, scenic picnic spots, Wi-Fi, a playground, a bicycle trailhead, and both indoor and outdoor relaxation areas.
