Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches' Visitor Eco-Discovery Center will be a state-of-the-art facility that provides travelers and residents with the opportunity to to learn more about the recreational, natural, historical, and cultural opportunities in Flagler County.
The facility, which is currently in the initial planning stage, will be funded by the Tourist Development Tax, a 5% tax that is collected on all accommodations in Flagler County rented for less than six months.
This project is the culmination of many years of research and thoughtful planning by communities with a vested interest in the preservation of the regions natural, historical, and cultural resources, combined with a mission to create access for all through education and high-quality recreational opportunities.
