Witches will switch it up again this Halloween by trading broomsticks for bicycles during the 3rd Annual Witches and Warlocks of Flagler Beach Bike Ride in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches. Sponsored by Flagler Beach Creates, this quirky fall event features locals and visitors in their “witchy best” cruising on decorated “broomsticks” through the heart of our little beach town. It’s a whole lot of hocus pocus that you won’t want to miss this Halloween.

The 2024 event will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024, with the ride beginning around 8:30 a.m. at the Wickline Center (315 S. 7th Street S) tennis court parking lot. The ride lasts approximately one hour and weaves throughout Flagler Beach. Click here for the full route. Be sure to stay a spell after the ride to watch the awards ceremony, which features categories like Best Broomstick, Best Costume, and Best Cackle. The Witches and Warlocks of Flagler Beach ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. back at the Wickline Center.

How to Participate:

If the broom fits, ride it! Scratch your witch itch and pre-register now for the event for just $25. Still brewing on it? Sign up the day of the ride for $30. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. and closes at 8:15 a.m.

Please note—you must be 18 years old to ride in this event. No seats, carriers or towed carriers are allowed. See additional rules.

Non-riders and little monsters will still love watching this Halloween event in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches. Grab a safe spot along the route and watch these seriously spooky guys and ghouls glide through town.

And don’t fly away too quickly—the Flagler Beach Police Department will host its annual Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on October 26. The event will be held at the Flagler Beach Police Department, 204 South Flagler Avenue.
