Worried about staying in shape while on vacation? Don’t sweat it (or do!)—we’ve got plenty of ways to get your body moving while you’re in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches.

1. Stroll the Boardwalk at Betty Steflik Preserve

A serene escape just minutes from downtown Flagler Beach. Spot egrets, tortoises and other wildlife as you stretch your legs on the wooden boardwalk.

2. Spin Your Wheels on the Mala Compra Trail

Go for a heart-pumping ride on this 5.5 mountain bike trail in Palm Coast. Technical features range from easy to more difficult, with tight turns, quick descents, and challenging climbs. TripAdvisor commenters say it has a jungle-like feel, thanks to the canopy of trees.

3. Paddle through Gamble Rogers State Park

Build up those biceps while you kayak through dense mangroves and across the Intracoastal Waterway. Dolphins and manatees frequent the area, so be sure to keep your eyes open and camera at the ready.

4. Shred the Waves in Flagler Beach

We’re always on board for a little cardio. Spend an afternoon surfing some of the best waves in Florida for an intense, full-body workout. Bring your own board or rent one at Flagler Board Shack or Z Wave Surf Shop.

5. Chase the Kids at Holland Park in Palm Coast

And by kids, we mean your own. With a zip line, sandpit, bridges, ladders, slides and more, Holland Park is the perfect place for your little to run wild. You’ll work up a sweat just tagging along.
