Meet Michelle Lamb, co-owner of Fun Coast Food Tours. Lamb moved to Michelle LambFlorida in 2021 and immediately set out to explore all things touristy in her new  hometown. That exploration led to some serious food for thought: there were no restaurant tours. With the help of a friend, she decided to start her own. Today, Lamb gives visitors and locals a taste of Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches on her popular seafood tour.

Why did you decide to start Fun Coast Food Tours?

Before moving here, I rented my friend Linda’s condo for a month, and I typed up a list of fun things to do in the area!  She read over it and said, “We are missing a food tour! “When her family travels, they always do food tours to try out different restaurants in the area.  We started researching and decided to go for it.

Why did you choose to offer a tour in Flagler County?

There are so many unique and locally owned restaurants right on A1A and the side streets in the heart of Flagler Beach, most with ocean views and within walking distance…a perfect location for our Oceanside Seafood tour!

For those who are unfamiliar, tell us how a food tour works?

It’s a walking food tour, we will stop at [several] restaurants and have a small plate at each stop. For the Oceanside Seafood tour, we always visit the Flagler Beach Historical Museum. The volunteers that work there are incredible and share the history of Flagler Beach with our group. Participants are tourists as well as locals. I tell the locals: you may have been to some of these restaurants…but I bet you haven’t been to four in one day!

Do you visit the same restaurants each time in Flagler Beach?

We go to four restaurants on the food tour.  I send an email prior to the food tour to ask of any allergies or special requests in the group and plan the stops accordingly.  I do change it up and wish I could take them to ALL of my favorites!

What’s the pricing and how many people per tour?

11:30 am tours – includes food tastings from four restaurants - $75 per person. Minimum of 2 people and max of 10.  We’ve had families, groups of girlfriends, student groups and employee appreciation groups do the food tours…it’s always a fun time!

How much walking is involved?

About 1 mile total of walking.

What are the food portions like? Will attendees be full at the end?

It’s a small plate at each stop…I’ve never had anyone leave hungry!
