Intermediate: Session 6: July 6 to July 10 Must have been to camp/or lesson in the past and be ready to work on furthering basic riding skills. Session 8: July 20 to July 24 Must have been to camp/or lesson in the past and be ready to work on furthering basic riding skills.
Advanced Trail Camp: Session 7: July 13 to July 17 Must be able to groom and tack up on their own and be able to canter on a trail confidently. Approval required. Session 9: July 27 to July 31 Must be able to groom and tack up on their own and be able to canter on a trail confidently. Approval required. Duration 5 days
Your child will learn: Horse safety Equine behavior Identification Grooming Tacking up Basic riding skills What to Bring All campers are required to bring personal cooler or thermos for water. We are not going to have a refrigerator this year and want everyone to keep their personal items in an assigned personal area in order to keep personal items separate. We drink a lot! please label everything. Bring a lunch each day. It will not be refrigerated so pack accordingly. Pack extra food as we snack during camp. Campers should wear sun block and drink water before arriving and throughout the day. It will be hot! 2020 Itinerary Monday: Shorts and closed toed shoes (Introduction / no saddle) Tuesday: Long pants closed toed shoes (Arena Work, Games, Relay) Wednesday: Swim Suit with painting clothes closed toed shoes (Paint Horses & Sprinklers) Thursday: Long pants closed toes shoes (Trail Ride & Museum Tour) Friday: Swimsuit and closed toed shoes – Lake swimming with horses. Bring a towel and a treat for the Lake Party! Parents and siblings welcome. Additional Info Enrollment is limited in order ensure a quality experience. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible. Completed registration form with payment is required to ensure a spot in the camp. A full refund is permitted if notice is given two weeks before the first day of camp for any reason. **** COVID -19 statement: Full refunds will be given to anyone that feels they need to cancel due to COVID - 19. We will be practicing social distancing and will be washing hands and using sanitizer whenever we change activities and before any food in consumed. Please do not send your camper to camp if they have a fever or other COVID 19 symptoms. We will not require masks for children but will be washing hands and sanitizing at every opportunity.
