In-store Presentation: Bats in My Florida Backyard

Join us on Saturday, Oct. 7th anytime between 12 and 2pm, for a FREE in-store presentation that focuses on Florida’s bats with the opportunity to meet these amazing little creatures! Ariel Horner, from the Florida Bat Conservancy, will dispel the spooky myths and reveal fascinating facts. We'll learn the important environmental services that bats provide to habitats and humans alike, conservation strategies, and simple steps that anyone can take to help these beneficial mammals in your own backyard! This is a family friendly event.

This is NOT a sit-down program. Customers may come and go as they please anytime between 12-2pm. Ariel will have a booth for all to visit, see the bats up close, and ask any questions you may have. It is typically more crowded the first hour, so maybe come in the second hour for less crowds.

We will have batty cookies from @leilanissweetery and a raffle to win a FREE triple chamber bat house. A portion of all sales this day will go to Florida Bat Conservancy.
