Attractions & Museums

Even though we promote ourselves as the “Quiet Side of Florida,” there’s plenty to do and see here.  Flagler County is home to the country’s first “oceanarium” at Marineland, where today you can interact with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in an oceanfront setting.  Or enjoy classes, lectures and events that highlight marine life at the nearby Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience.

While on the beachside, celebrate our rich history at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum, where their motto is “From the Stone Age to the Space Age.” Check out the artifacts from days of old or view a flag taken on the Space Shuttle by a local astronaut.

Want more? Discover the state’s agricultural connections at the Ag Museum.  Take in a movie, bowl a game or two, or stroll around the Farmer’s Market.  Fish from the Flagler Municipal Pier or cruise along the Intracoastal on the Sundancer Yacht. We've also got "traditional" activities like bowling and movies. Whatever you find to do and see while you are here, we know you'll enjoy it!
