Culinary Journey through Flagler Beach

Flagler Beach; known for its beautiful coastline and great surfing is making waves in the culinary world.

Locally owned restaurants offer exciting dining in fabulous locals. The Island Grille is an oceanfront restaurant on A1A set in a historic building that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Stop by for their unforgettable Sunday brunch and pile your plate high with a fresh made omelet, prime rib, salmon and more. Or, get their signature wasabi salmon, people travel miles for it! Don’t forget to get a ”sunrise mimosa” to sip on while you watch the waves crash.

For lunch, head into Vessel Sandwich Co.; a Chef driven restaurant just blocks from the beach. They have gourmet sandwiches, soups, and salads which are all made from scratch in-house. Get a local favorite, ham n peppers with lavender sweet tea and a nutella brownie for dessert. You will not leave hungry or disappointed.

The Golden Lion Café has been voted the best beach bar from Amelia Island to Key West. They offer fresh seafood including a raw bar, tropical drinks, a sandy dance floor, and dining on a balcony overlooking the ocean. You have to try their coconut shrimp with pina colada sauce, amazing! Might as well throw in a pina colada cocktail too while you’re at it!
