Spring Festivals and Events
The Spring time is gorgeous here in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches. The weather is mild, the cinnamon colored beaches are uncrowded, your drive down A1A is uncluttered by high rises so you have a pure view of the ocean! There is so much to love about this area. There is also a lot to do here in the Spring. Here is just a look at a few of the awesome festivals/events we will have going on:
There will be some of the finest seafood available - both food trucks & seafood restaurants from throughout Florida. Everything from lobster & shrimp to fish & oysters. For the landlubbers - there will even be chicken & bar-b-que options.
Turtle Fest is the primary fundraiser for the Volusia/Flagler Turtle Patrol. Activities include face painting, turtle races, live music, entertainment, white elephant sales, a variety of vendors and wares, local artists and crafts along with food and beverages for sale. Generally, a turtle from rehabilitation is released on the beach mid-afternoon.
Educational exhibits and materials are often available from the Marine Science Center, Gamble Roger State Park and other environmental organizations. Information on volunteer opportunities and Turtle Nest Adoptions are also available. T-shirts and canvas tote bags may be purchased, along with turtle magnets, temporary turtle tattoos and miscellaneous turtle-related items. All proceeds go to the Turtle Patrol.
Sip and sample under the sun with a background of live music, surf, and sea breezes.
The Palm Coast Arts Foundation (PCAF) invites you to the 10th Annual Picnic and Pops featuring the Jacksonville Symphony performing on their new outdoor stage! Bring a picnic basket and enjoy an outdoor evening concert with one of the nation’s top regional orchestras, the Jacksonville Symphony, as they perform favorite show tunes, Broadway hits and popular film scores.
