Kim Medley - Community & State Parks Horseback Trail Riding
As a Native Floridian, counties along the East Coast of Florida have been home for most of my life. I share many passions and Flagler County provides an array of historical sites, avenues for art & culture, fun annual events, great golf courses, hiking and walking trails galore, unique dining experiences, and breathtaking beaches. It is my hope your journey to Flagler County will lead you to discover its many treasures and embrace them as I have.
Wings Over Flagler, an annual event held the final weekend of March, is not only a celebration of the coming spring, it is a harbinger of the many exciting events that contribute to the uniqueness that is Flagler County.
The Native American Festival is well on its way to becoming a premier event for both residents and visitors.
Tucked beneath a canopy of oak trees, draped in Spanish moss, sits an unassuming structure that houses a successful infusion of facts, fishing, flavor, and food. It is a well-kept Flagler County secret that is meant to be shared with everyone.
Perhaps it is a bit odd to write about a franchise restaurant for a local tourism page; but the service and ambiance provided by Mike Xifaras and the service staff of the Palm Coast Carrabba’s warrant more than just a friendly nod.
The month of January signals changes across the county. It ushers in a New Year. Cold, Arctic air dips down into the Deep South bringing about nippy weather during the day, freezing temperatures at night, and sometimes, icicles hanging from orange trees. If it’s the fourth weekend in January in Flagler County, then it’s time for the Flagler Home & Lifestyle Show.
