Are you interested in learning more about our local birds and conservation issues? Flagler Audubon Society is happy to help! Programs are held on the first Thursday of the month in meeting rooms A & B, and start at 6:30 p.m. with a chapter activity update and social session. Formal presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. Programs are open to the public and free to attend. Visitors are welcome!

Learn secrets to remember birds, their field marks and behaviors.
November 2 - Microplastics: What's the Big Deal?
Maia McGuire, PhD will explain the problem of microplastic pollution in our oceans.
December 7 - Holiday Social Potluck
Attendees answer trivia and share favorite bird photos. Bring a snack or dessert to share, and wear your most outrageous bird shirt!
January 4 - So You Got a ___ for Xmas
Learn more about the birding gear that you just unwrapped.
February 1 - Shorebird ID
Just in time for the shorebird survey… Learn to identify the common types of shorebirds.
March 1 - Audubon Works Flagler
Stories from our members on their local conservation efforts.
April 5 - Using Water Wisely
Jennifer Mitchell, Ph.D from the St. John’s River Water Mgmt District will show how we can all help ensure there is enough water for people and nature.
