“Stained Glass – Mysteries, Secrets and Techniques” with Dr. Lee Richards

The Flagler County Art League will meet on Thursday, October 26th at 6:30 for a social hour and 7:00 for a presentation by Lee Richards, PhD. Lee will illustrate how a piece goes from an idea to a finished product and how work processes like this can relate to ANY media! He will share a very short history of stained glass and the unique techniques and materials used in the medium.

Lee has been working in stained glass for over 40 years and has won numerous awards for his distinctive work! He specializes in flat panel landscapes and wildlife scenes. He also produces three dimensional pieces that include lamp shades, boxes, and constructed sculptures. Lee has taught beginner and advanced classes in the copper foil technique.

His 35+ year professional career was spent as a licensed architect, engineer, and construction manager. He has a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), a Master of Architecture, and a Doctorate (Engineering). For more information call 386-986-4668 or
